Vendor Mushmina

Welcome vendor Mushmina!  The story started with two sisters who wanted to make a difference in the developing world. One joined Peace Corps Morocco to help rural women develop business skills and the other traveled to Mali to research traditional weaving and metal-smithing techniques. Six years later, Mushmina was born. Our name Mushmina, is an endearing nickname that to us means ‘little sister’.

In Morocco we work with over 9 different regional artisan groups, employing over 75 artisans, both men and women. While we are a cottage industry business (where many women work in their homes) the Mushmina Workshop and atelier is coming soon!See Mushmina's products at:  www.mushmina.com

Welcome Vendor Bruce Murray Collection

Check out our unique vendor Bruce Murray Collection!
Since 1991, Shawn Murray, the grandson of Bruce Murray, Sr., has been printing, publishing and marketing his grandfather's photo artwork.  For over four decades, "The Master" photographer, Bruce Murray, Sr. (1893-1969) has captured amazing images of sports legends, historical figures and Americana.  Mr. Murray truly loved his work and was a founding father and president of the Philadelphia Press Photographers Association.  He passed on his skill and photography to his grandson, Shawn (almost Bruce III).   Shawn has proudly preserved the provenance and his family legacy and committed his life to publishing his grandfather's work.  Shawn prints these photographs directly from the original glass plate negatives that were handed down to him.
Bruce Sr.'s work was included in the Sports Illustrated book "20th Century Sports - Images of Greatness," and has been featured nationally on the Yes Network and Fox Television networks.  The photos have been auctioned at many charity events for such organizations as the Red Cross, ALS, Alzheimer's Assn., Aids Coalition and M.S. Society.  The photos are part of the permanent collections of such institutions as the Thomas Edison Museum, the Babe Ruth Museum, the Franklin Institute and the International Boxing Hall of Fame.  They are part of the private collections of many notables such as Reggie Jackson, Tom Hanks, Larry King, Gary Sinise, Les Paul and John Goodman.  Homegrown collectors include former Phillies Larry Christensen and Don Money, and Phila. D.A. Lynn Abraham.  Shawn is always happy to speak on behalf of his grandfather’s work.

Vendor Profile Wags & Tags

Wags & Tags is an independent, Pennsylvania-based company which makes a
collection of durable, sophisticated dog tags made of precious metals and
stones. Wags & Tags is dedicated to providing pets with dog tags that are
not only tough and sturdy, but also fine, luxurious jewelry.

A collector of fine jewelry, Sandy Hirsch began by consulting a designer and a
jeweler. She explored the properties of precious metals, the strength of
various bales and connectors, the staying power of various gems. After
coming up with a prototype that addressed both function and form, the tags
were put to the ultimate test of durability: her dog, Jessie. After three
years of extensive swimming and racing through the woods, Jessie proved
that the tags could withstand all the fun of an active and rambunctious
four-legged friend. Wags & Tags can be found at:  www.wagsandtags.com

Vendor Miss Rosie's Canine Creations

Welcome vendor Miss Rosie's Canine Creations!  This is a little information about Miss Rosie'sWe offer a variety of all natural dog treats. Vegan and gluten free items are available along with seasonal specials.

I lost my two wonderful dogs 6 years ago. Jake, my Golden Retriever and Rosie, my Boxer. They died 6 months apart. I believe that their demise was caused by either the commercial dog food or treats that I gave them. Both brands were a part of the recall that affected thousands of our beloved pets in the United States.
Since then I have changed to a dog food that is not only made in the US ...but all of the products used are grown and milled in the US as well.
I founded Miss Rosie's Canine Creations with the same mindset. All of the products used in creating our treats are grown in the US. I use locally grown produce that are in season. This ensures not only a fresh, tasty and wholesome treat for your dog but a truly healthy one.
Miss Rosie's Canine Creations offers a variety of all natural, preservative-free dog cookies that relieve some of the health issues that many dogs suffer from. An oatmeal, peanut, pumpkin and ginger cookie that calms a dog that suffers from motion sickness, a buckwheat lavender treat and a buckwheat pumpkin ginger that iare both vegan and gluten-free which relieves the symptoms of skin allergies.

We offer a special treat made of millet-ginger-chamomile in the cooler months.

Welcome vendor Jewelry With Me

Check out new vendor Jewelry With Me!  Here's their story:
My name is Joyce Mercer and I started Jewelry With Me in June of 2010.  I create custom handmade wire wrapped jewelry from Aluminum Wire.  I started with a signature ring that I create on the spot when I am at a location giving the customer the opportunity to pick the colors they like and have the ring sized to fit.
Along with the rings there are earrings, bracelets and necklaces that are fun and colorful pieces to go with the rings.

The choice to use aluminum started as a practice wire because it’s less expensive than Sterling Silver, but once I discovered the color and gauge options along with the fact that aluminum is non-tarnish, light weight and hypo-allergenic I decided to work exclusively in that material creating Fun and Inexpensive Handmade Eye-catching jewelry!

I can be found vending and making rings on the spot throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. Etsy – www.etsy.com/shop/Jewelrywithme

Welcome vendor VoXevangeline

Check out vendor VoXevangeline's story:

After graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Theatre Design, I pursued a career as a rock singer/songwriter, performing in the New York and Philadelphia area with my band, Denny and the Dropouts. You can actually find me on YouTube. I had the honor of working with Andy Wallace, who worked on Nirvana's 'In Utero' and Wally Gold, who wrote, "It's My Party" for Leslie Gore.

A few years ago, I stopped performing professionally but it's hard to keep someone with the creative gene down. One day, one of my closest friends, Meg, suggested I start designing jewelry after she had seen some beaded bracelets I had made with our daughters.

I began doing craft shows designing jewelry from vintage and antique finds under the name of bijou X (www.bijouXstudio.etsy.com). As I continued to grow as an artist, I wanted to expand my skills and designing direction. Voila! VoXevangeline!

Always loving history and antiques, I took some of my favorite vintage things and decided to cast them using the lost wax casting method. And always loving my roots in rock, I decided to give those pieces an edgy look with a feminine feel.
